When children are around 12 years old, and start taking their bicycles to school, they often know traffic rules and regulations.
What they often lack at this young age, is the experience to detect potential dangerous situations on the road. With this on-line training programme children learn where they have to look when they are on the road. The children are presented a series of interactive video’s, shot from the front of a bicycle. At certain moments they need to respond quickly by clicking on the right place on the screen.
This project is created by Prof. Jan Pauwels and produced in cooperation with Ives Jossa.
Also in coöperation with BIVV, KU Leuven and DVV verzekeringen.
